One of my favorite breakfasts to have on a cool autumn morning is oatmeal with pumpkin and spices added in. It’s yummy, filling and super quick to fix.
Basically, fix your oatmeal the way you normally would. (For me, this is by making quick oats in the microwave.) Add a 2 tablespoons of pumpkin from the can, a sprinkle of cinnamon and your preferred sweetener.
As for the rest of the can of pumpkin? There’s no need for it to go to waste. Freeze it in ice trays and then transfer to a Ziploc bag. Store it in the freezer and add a cube of it to your oatmeal anytime you’re in the mood for it. It’s also great added to smoothies! 🙂
