Falling For Fall Shoes

When fall comes, I look forward to exchanging bright nails for darker ones, sundresses for cozy sweaters and sandals for flats and boots.

If you’re looking for some shoes for fall, consider these options.  They’re ones I personally bought and can’t wait to wear.

bootie

The taupe bootie, available at Maurices. They retail for $44 but you can almost always catch a sale at Maurices.  When I purchased them I got them for $33, shipped.  I think they’ll be really cute to wear with skinny jeans or even a skirt.  Also available in a velvety gray shade.

strappy flat

The gray strappy flat, available at Gap Factory.  Also available in black, leopard and metallic silver.  They retail for $28.99 but again, you can get them cheaper by watching sales or using a promo code.  These would be awesome with skinnies, leggings or dressier clothing.  These may be my favorite of all listed here.  I don’t typically go for a shoe with a pointed toe but I really liked the effect so will probably do so more often in the future.

lace up shoe

The taupe lace-up ballet flat, available at Maurices.  They retail for $29.  I used a coupon code and got mine for $21, shipped.  If you’re looking for a promo code, retail me not almost always has them.  It’s the first place I check when I’m looking for a promo code.  Lace-up flats are THE shoe to have for fall.  Also available in black.

black wedge

The classic black patent wedge, available at Amazon.  These gorgeous wedges are by Chinese Laundry which is one of my favorite brands ever.  They’re currently selling for $39.90 but if you watch the price, it drops from time to time.  I kept my eye on them and purchased them for $29.90.  Of all of these shoes, these were the ones I needed most.  I hadn’t bought a true winter dress shoe for several years.  I will say that they run a little big.  I ordered them in my normal size but definitely could have sized down half a size.  They’re also available in nude, gray, brown and dusty rose.

Which of these catch your eye?  I’d love to hear from you!  You can find a comment box below.
