Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup (In A Crockpot)

There’re few things as comforting as soup when the weather is chilly outside.  This one is a family favorite that everyone eats.  It’s hearty and healthy.

Chicken Noodle Soup Ingredients

Gather these ingredients:

6 cups chicken broth

2 cups water

1 lb. chicken breast tenderloins, uncooked

1 onion, whole or sliced in half

1 & 1/2 cups chopped carrots

1/2 cup chopped celery

1 chicken bouillon cube

1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/4 teaspoon parsley

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

2 cups egg noodles

Cook on high for 3 hours then take onion out, shred chicken & put back in:

Add noodles and cook for an additional 30 minutes to an hour- basically until the noodles are done.  🙂 Serve with banquettes or rolls.  Leftovers make a great lunch the next day, too!
