I had a couple gifts to wrap and I wanted to do something different with them besides just sticking them in a bag. So the idea struck me to use a kitchen towel as packaging. I picked up these fall towels for 88 cents a piece at Walmart. Aren’t they cute? And honestly, they’re cheaper than a gift bag!
I started by cutting the tags off and laying a towel open with the print side down.
Next, I placed the gift in the center. (Sorry! can’t show you because the gift recipient could be reading! LOL) Then I brought the four corners up to a point.
I placed a rubber band around the top of the gift so the towel had 4 flaps left:
Then I carefully tucked the ends in and placed a second rubber band around the top of the gift to hold the arrangement in place.
Then you have your finished gift wrap, cute and creative!
